Useful Ways You can Stay in Control of Stress




The vitamins and minerals that you need to reduce stress are usually used up when you are under stress.


When you are stressed you don't usually go for broccoli, you usually reach for that sugary chocolate bar and even more carbs.


Because you are not eating properly, you may have hidden hungers because of lack of nutrients.


Water-soluble vitamins and minerals are greatly reduced when you are stressed.


Continuous stress robs your body of nutrients, slows digestion, and weakens your resistance to infections.


As a stress management coach, I highly recommend a daily intake of vitamin and mineral supplements if you are suffering from stress.


These are:


  • 1000 mg of vitamin C for anti-bacterial and anti-viral support



  • 1 multi-vitamin -

These need to be taken daily to support your immune system, fill in nutritional gaps and make sure that you get your daily allowance of underconsumed nutrients like vitamins A, C, D, E and K, calcium





  • 1 B complex which needs to be taken daily because they are easily excreted by the body.

It is useful for your mood and mental attitude and helps you to cope with stress.




  • 2 B6 100 mg to help with your mood, to lessen symptoms of depression and for brain health.





10 mg zinc




  • Magnesium from milk, seeds, nuts, and whole grains is good for energy production.



  • Calcium from sesame seeds, milk, or Dolomite

Lack of calcium can cause cramps and irritability.

Continued stress can result in your bones and joints becoming brittle.
